The NEO COUNTER X-ray system performs non-destructive inspection of incoming reels at the receiving dock. While counting, its X-ray imaging gives operators a first look inside sealed packaging: anomalies such as empty pockets, mixed loads, or visibly inconsistent internals can be flagged and escalated to qualified test methods. Inspection results are automatically linked to the digital identity captured at NEO SCAN registration (supplier, lot, certificate of conformance), and suspect parts are quarantined pending disposition. This receiving-dock screening and documentary chain of custody form one layer of an AS5553-aligned counterfeit avoidance program, alongside the supplier qualification, organizational controls, and, where required, SAE AS6171 laboratory test methods that remain part of the buyer’s quality program.

SMD BOX enforces project ownership tagging and isolation down to the individual reel level. Within a single storage cabinet, components from different programs are logically segregated, and the permission system ensures only authorized personnel can access material assigned to their specific program. Any cross-program retrieval attempt is automatically blocked and generates a security alert.

The SMF software platform uses append-only logging — all transaction records are write-once, never modified or deleted. Each record captures timestamp, operator ID, component serial number, and operation type. Data can be exported and backed up externally, meeting airworthiness certification and AS9100D audit requirements for long-term credible recordkeeping.

The system supports multi-dimensional queries by lot number, component serial, program code, or date range. Enter any search criteria and receive complete material flow records in seconds — including source, incoming inspection data, storage conditions, retrieval history, and program allocation. Audit preparation time drops from weeks of manual work to minutes of system-generated reports.

The SMF software provides standard API interfaces supporting bidirectional data synchronization with SAP and other ERP systems, MES platforms, and program management tools commonly used in aerospace and defense. Integration specifically supports project isolation data and counterfeit detection results. Typical deployment and integration is completed within 2-4 weeks.
