Vendor and model naming

The HAWKEYE X-ray line is made by Techvalley Co., Ltd., Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. On Techvalley’s own website the reel chip counter is called HAWKEYE1000; some European resellers list it as “Hawkeye 2000”.

What the vendor states

  • Techvalley states that it developed the first automatic reel chip counting equipment using X-ray in 2013 and has released several generations since.
  • According to the vendor, the counter can count up to four 180 mm reels simultaneously.
