ASM Pacific Technology Limited changed its name to ASMPT Limited with effect from 4 July 2022. Its SMT business operates as ASMPT SMT Solutions (ASMPT GmbH & Co. KG, Munich) and covers placement platforms, DEK printers, inspection, software and material-flow automation.
Material Tower
The Material Tower is ASMPT’s automated reel storage system. As of September 2026 the former product page on smt.asmpt.com redirects to the homepage and the storage category no longer appears in the site’s product navigation. The product is still named on the page of ASMPT’s Factory Material Manager software, which lists “control of automated storage systems: Material Tower or third-party systems”.
